Legal Case to Protect Human Rights from Pollution

As increasing pollution in India’s capital New Delhi is depriving people of their basic human rights to live in a clean, pollution-free environment, the government has worsened the already alarming situation with its FAR construction policy. The FAR construction is spreading lethal dust and noise pollution in Delhi’s housing societies where millions of people live.

Since massive corruption is happening in FAR construction projects, corrupt government bureaucrats and criminal politicians in Delhi have refused to stop FAR construction while the citizens have been constantly complaining. As an environmental activist, I have also been running citywide campaigns against FAR for the past 3 years. But the FAR construction is spreading like wildfire.

Therefore, I need legal support to get FAR construction stopped in Delhi. Lawyers who deal with human rights and/or environment protection issues are requested to provide me adequate legal assistance to file a case (such as a public interest litigation, PIL) in Delhi High Court or the Supreme Court of India.

You can download the case note on FAR construction including legal arguments. It is also given below in the digital format.
