Why Is My House Being Broken in Delhi?

As I have been complaining against this criminal activity, I am receiving continuous threats including death threats from the criminals.

Friends, my name is Rakesh Raman. I am a journalist and live in Dwarka area of New Delhi. I have been facing extreme misery and numerous threats to drive me out of my home. 

I am a victim of increasing corruption, illegal construction, environmental crime, and human rights violations as a citywide scandal led by builders’ mafia in connivance with senior government officials is happening in Delhi.  read more

UN Must Use Security Council Chapter VII to Restore Democracy in Myanmar

Human Rights in Myanmar

Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter specifies the UN Security Council’s powers to maintain peace. 

The military coup that took place in Myanmar nearly two years ago has also unleashed extreme brutality on the people of Myanmar (formerly Burma), which is a Southeast Asian nation having a population of 57 million.

As the human rights situation in Myanmar is going from bad to worse, RMN Foundation urges the UN and the international community to take some conclusive steps to save the civilians and restore democracy in that country. read more

Volker Türk Must Resign for His Failure to Protect Human Rights

Since Volker Türk has failed to provide relief to the persecuted communities, he has no right to hold the position of the UN Human Rights Chief. 

The United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, has explained his role at the UN Human Rights Office that he joined a few months ago. In a tweet posted on April 18, 2023, Türk said that during the past six months he has assessed the human rights situation in different parts of the world. read more
