Appeal for Donation to RMN Foundation
RMN Foundation is a humanitarian organization formed in May 2015 as an educational and public charitable Trust for the benefit of humanity at large. It is registered with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi at New Delhi, India.
With all-encompassing philanthropic objectives to serve the masses, RMN Foundation is now working as a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO) in diverse fields of human activity.
All the services of the Foundation are structured to ensure “Equal Opportunity for All to Live and Progress,” which is also the fundamental belief and the driving force for the people working for our organization.
Currently, all the activities of RMN Foundation are being managed single-handedly (without any support) by RMN Foundation founder Rakesh Raman who had left his job a few years ago to run this charity.
Rakesh Raman is a national award-winning journalist and social activist. Besides working at senior editorial positions with leading media companies, he was writing an exclusive edit-page tech business column (named Technophile) regularly for The Financial Express (a daily business newspaper of The Indian Express Group).
Earlier, he had been associated with the United Nations (UN) through United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a digital media expert to help businesses use technology for brand marketing and business development.
As the RMN Foundation has embarked upon some major humanitarian projects during the past about 3 years, now it needs a significant amount of funds in the form of donations to expand the scope of its activities.
These days, RMN Foundation is working in the following areas to help the disadvantaged and distressed people in the society.
RMN Foundation has been running comprehensive field campaigns in Delhi to spread awareness about environment protection and it also has released a research report on the increasing pollution levels in Delhi. Of late, the Foundation has formed a Green Group to carry out environment-protection activities in Delhi. Click here for details.
As RMN Foundation has been running major campaigns against all forms of bureaucratic and political corruption in India, it has now formed a community-driven online platform under the banner “Clean House” to help the suffering people – particularly in the housing societies – raise their voice against corruption. The platform is available on RMN Foundation-related global news site RMN News Service. Click here for details.
It has also released a new research report on corruption in India. This report – under the title Dark Streets – gives a macro overview of corruption in India and focuses on the increasing corruption worth billions of dollars in housing complexes of Delhi where millions of people live.
Children’s Education Rights
RMN Foundation is running a free school which was started about 3 years ago (in 2015) to impart modern education free of charge to poor children in a temporary location at J.J. Colony of Dwarka, Sector 3, New Delhi. Additionally, with the help of student volunteers, the Foundation is conducting comprehensive field surveys aimed to improve the quality of education in schools particularly for the poor children. Political Awareness Campaigns
RMN Foundation-related global news site RMN News Service – which reports extensively on the political developments in India and abroad – has started a comprehensive editorial section to educate the voters. The current focus of the section is on the Lok Sabha Election 2019. Click here for details.
