Indian voters should not blindly follow any politician because most of the politicians in all political parties are crooks.

OPENING STATEMENT

Today, India is standing at the crossroads where the country’s 1.4 billion people are facing a grave threat from their own political rulers who have been exploiting the sentiment of people for the past seven decades after India got independence from the Britishers in 1947.

While almost all politicians here are corrupt – many are facing serious criminal charges – they have been winning elections by dividing voters on the basis of their caste, creed, color, and religious affiliations. Elections are also being won by bribing the voters, intimidating them, or by tampering with the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Also, the autocratic rulers frequently purchase legislators in horse-trading deals to steal elections and form governments unscrupulously. read more

It is being observed that the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) is increasing rapidly in India. While the government does not have proper hospitals and healthcare infrastructure to test and count the coronavirus cases and casualties, it is giving some random, off-the-cuff numbers about the disease. Actually, the number of coronavirus patients and deaths in India is far higher — probably in thousands — than what is being reported.

Meanwhile, a report focuses on coronavirus in Delhi’s housing societies where millions of people live. The government is not taking proper steps to stop non-essential, long-term construction projects in the occupied housing societies where men, women, and children are already living. This has increased the probability of coronavirus contagion in the entire city, and eventually it will bring dire consequences for the entire world.  read more

Corrupt Bureaucrats and Careless Courts Allow Illegal Construction in Delhi

Today, hundreds of group housing societies in Delhi are carrying out illegal extended construction [ a.k.a. Floor area ratio (FAR) construction ] which is spreading lethal dust and noise pollution in the entire city.

The illegal construction racket is being run by housing societies, corrupt bureaucrats, and dishonest politicians in connivance with the builders’ mafia.

Although many residents who oppose FAR construction have been going to the courts to get it stopped, unfortunately the courts are not quite willing to stop this crime and corruption scandal that is causing extreme health hazards among millions of Delhi residents. read more
